Description
TERRY AND THE PIRATES is one of the most successful adventure strips of the 20th Century, not only running for 40 years, but spawning a radio serial, a movie serial, a TV series, and Ð of course Ð a healthy run in the comics. Created by Milt Caniff, and drawn by Caniff until 1946 (later by George Wunder for another 27 years) it told the tale of young Terry Lee who, along with an ever-expanding cadre of friends and enemies, traveled the world finding adventure and danger. Unlike many character of the Golden Age, Terry was allowed to grow and mature; we’re bringing you his comic adventures in published order, so you can see that evolution.
This book reprints the Dell Large Feature Comics #2, 6, & #27 — these are strip reprints, and were published in comic format in B&W.
