ÒThe Creatures of the Tide Pools in Palos Verdes.Ó Living on the Palos Verdes Peninsula has afforded us the opportunity to research and study a habitat that we reside in. Students will use this knowledge base of their local area throughout their life and through a variety of experiences as they mature. This project is a great example of a cross-curricular assignment with blending Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Mathematics. In creating this work students incorporated their computer knowledge, research skills, writing ability, social studies and math skills to produce this tremendous final product.
