Description
Everyone that’s been playing videogames for years has a story to tell, and Rob has gathered many of those in the pages of Digital Archaeology. Also included are interviews that Rob has conducted with industry professionals and and other notables.
-People from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and countries have each contributed a story/stories about their experiences in gaming, ranging from the earliest days of gaming to the most recent. -Contributors include such notables as Sam Roberts, Brett Weiss, Earl Green, Eugene Myers, Cat DeSpira, Ken Horowitz of Sega-16, Timothy David of the band Bathroom of the Future, Shmup Junkie, Sega Lord X and many more.
-Interviewees include programmers, journalists, producers and artists, among them David Crane (founder of Activision and creator of Pitfall!), Howard Scott Warshaw (creator of the Atari 2600 games Yars’ Revenge, Raiders of the Lost Ark and E.T.), Martin Alessi (former writer for Electronic Gaming Monthly), Kouchi “Isuke” Yotsui (creator of Strider) and Yuzo Koshiro (famed videogame music composer).
