My mother gifted me with my first diary when I was ten. These diaries and journals have helped me through multiple life changes, including relocation, bullying, love, marriage, miscarriage, obsession, adoption, acceptance, and transformation. The outcome of every story had a powerful lesson to learn. I quickly realized that writing daily entries was a therapeutic tool that helped me overcome many obstacles while navigating life.

As I grew older, my diaries turned into journals that safely held my most sacred stories. Writing has been healing for me. This book opens up my past in hopes that you will find meaning in each journal entry that will inspire or transform your life. Some of the names have been changed to protect a few reputations. These entries are honest, authentic, and raw. Yes, they make me vulnerable, but it’s all worth it if my vulnerability can inspire and reconstruct just one person’s life.
