Key Challenges in Implementing Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL)

Description

The purpose of this research is to identify a list of factors/ conditions, collected from qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method research investigations that have documented the factors that inhibit CALL in EFL settings. The audience to whom this study is directed consists mainly of school administrators, teachers, and parents. It is paramount to the successful integration of CALL that EFL school administrators, teachers, and parents are aware of the factors that inhibit CALLÕs effectiveness in the classroom setting, in order to begin the process of removing such barriers and bring their schools, classrooms, teaching and leaning into the 21st century.
