Bach I wrote some Inventions at two voices for recorders duo (soprano and tenor) with different speeds, colors, and grades of difficulty; ich habe geschrieben verschiedene Inventionen mit zwei stimmen, nach das wunderbar Beispiel von J. Bach, cettes inventions sont pour les flžtes ˆ bec soprano et tŽnor, et elles sont diffŽrents niveaux de difficultŽe, diffŽrentes vitesses et aussi esprits; seguendo, molto alla lontana, lo splendido esempio delle invenzioni a due voci di J. S. Bach, ho scritto queste invenzioni per due flauti dolci, soprano e tenore; sono diverse tra loro per velocitˆ, difficoltˆ e spirito.
