Description
In 1944 Ed found himself in the Philippines, smack dab in the middle of Surigao Strait, firing some of the first shots of the largest naval battle in history, his little PT Boat woefully overmatched by the Japanese fleet.
For many of his generation, World War II was the most significant experience of their lives and yet many avoided talking about it after the war, history lost. Here, Ed tells his story of the war and how he went on to live a life of construction rather than destruction and realizing his dreams of traveling adventure.
