This pocket guide provides an introduction to the OASIS Legal Document Markup Language known as Akoma Ntoso. It starts with the motivation for the markup language and then progresses into the various document types, the basic elements, and many of the attributes, before getting to an overview of many of the more advanced capabilities.
This book is intended for software developers with a need to learn Akoma Ntoso to either build tools, automate a jurisdiction’s process, or both. It assumes a working knowledge of XML and
familiarity with legislative processes.
