Description

The High Priest is stabbed at a party on the top of the Ziggurat. ItÕs 3000 b.c.e.–in ancient Iraq. Men have invented war and used it to put themselves in charge, but the dead priestÕs WIFE, by law, must solve the murder, so she appoints four young people to find the guilty person. Many opportunities are provided for student WRITING when they do CRITICAL THINKING about the ethical questions the play presents. (The fill-in-the-blanks method the author invented makes it possible for almost all students to do this.)
