BURP THE TWERP (aka ÒThe Super Son-Of-A-GunÓ) was ultra powerful; whatever you needed, he could do it —- and this included a super-ego! Sadly, the balance of the universe required that what he offered in strength, speed and power, he lacked in brains and common sense. It was a combination that made for misadventure one-page-at-a-time, and that how comic readers found BURP. He appeared in single-page stories in Police Comics #2-55 (1941-1946) and then a smattering of appearances in other Quality Comics titles. For the first time in history, BURP THE TWERP has all his stories collected into one hilarious book — and the world is a better place for it!
