Description
FOR OVER 45 YEARS BUZ SAWYER was a nationally-published comic strip, reaching millions each week. It was created by comic master Roy Crane (Wash Tubbs) in 1943, and ran non-stop into 1989 (Crane himself drew the strip until 1979). The adventures of BUZ SAWYER took him across the globe (or, for you flat-Earthers Ð all over the disc!), where he faced danger and intrigue at every turn, alongside his friend Roscoe Sweeny, his wife Christy Jameson and their son Pepper (b. 1951). A number of characters took on the name Buz (Buzz) Sawyer in the comics, but no others could match Crane’s famous soldier/adventurer for excitement and longevity! This three-issue collection from Pines (aka Standard/better/Nedor) contains reformatted color strips from his Sunday features.
