CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT is Captain Albright, genius inventor and patriot Ð and using his Gliderchute, Swing-Spring, Blacout Bomb, and Doom-Beam Torch he is a mighty superhero. He battles Nazis and Japanese agents during the war, and afterward everything from perceived communist agents to alien invaders, and of course his share of super villains! He’s a friend of Captain Marvel, an ally of Spy Smasher, and had a long-running (67-issue) comic run (1942-1948), as well as a popular radio series. One of the most popular heroes of his day, CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT’s complete issues have never been collected – – – that is, until Gwandanaland and Midcentury Comics!
