Description
In the early days of World War II (1939-1941) animosity between countries was high, and political correctness in comics pretty much non-existent. So, a maniacal Chinese crime kingpin and terrorist, who has a personal vendetta against the white race, was not considered too much out of the ordinary. For 24 issues of MYSTERY MEN COMICS (#1-24) and two issues the GREEN MASK (#5-6) Chen Chang plotted a series of incredible crimes and missions against America and England, pursued by a British agent Richard Kendall. While Kendall always appeared to come out on top, he failed to rid the world of Chang, who was back for more the following month. Who ultimately won?
This series is by an unknown writer, but adeptly drawn by Munson Paddock (under the name Cecilia Munson).
