Description
Ever since Princess Beatrice was born, she had spent her summers at her grandparents’ castle. However, this year, she has the task of helping to save her aunts, not only from themselves but from the poisonous threat of vengeance which engulfs the forest, waiting for her father’s return.
This book forms the first part of a trilogy which takes the reader on an epic adventure set in a Tudor-inspired fantasy world. The book acts as a metaphor in which the evil Aaron Xavier Osne embodies the devastating effect of eating disorders on the royal princesses and everyone around them. However, the engaging characters and the plot’s comical twists and turns maintain the reader’s interest, whilst at the same time addressing an issue that is increasingly affecting a younger readership.
