Description
We live in a time where fake news, fiction, imaginative stories and rumours multiply in nearly every strata of our world. It has become crucial for GodÕs church and those searching for Him to discern between fact and opinion. This book aims to provide you with factual information. I have diligently and carefully checked my resources and sources and conducted in-depth interviews with those at the heart of the revival among the Zulus. Since Erlo Stegen was in the habit of taking his co-workers with him on his many outreaches, it was not difficult to corroborate events described in this book. For three years I have cross-checked their narratives with many documents, newsletters, over 50 transcribed sermons and books and articles about the Mission.
This book is based on research done for a PhD study on the life, ministry and teachings of Erlo Hartwig Stegen as well as academic articles which have been peer-reviewed, accepted and published in various academic theological journals, both nationally and internationally.
I can with confidence say that what you have in your hands is a factual, accurate account from those who have observed Erlo StegenÕs work and the revival among the Zulu nation.
Grace is undeserved mercy and this grace needs to work within our hearts. It is this grace that purifies us and gives a life of victory over sin. This grace is a theme which flows through this book. It is this grace that reached Erlo Stegen as he wrestled with God for revival.
This book is a message of hope. Hope that GodÕs grace can produce victory and abundant, long-lasting fruit in your life. It is at ChristÕs feet that we find His abundant grace.
Indeed, what is impossible with man is possible with God!
