Description
The Prince of Kydar graphic novel popped out of thin air in a recurring dream during a rough period in my life when I was 9 years old. I have severe dyslexia. Reading, writing, math: all those important basic subjects are a struggle for me. And when this dream happened, I was going through the worst of it. Reading didn’t “click” for me until 5th grade, a few years later. This dream spirited me away into a world full of magic and mystery that helped me find my voice as an artist and a person. The characters were so vivid and the story so incredible, I wanted to share my experience with other people. But at the time, I could barely write. So! I drew it! And 13 years later, in college, I self published the first chapter. Now, here is the process book with all the behind the scenes work that went into making the comic!
