GINGER began as a shy and somewhat clumsy young teen, but quickly matured into a popular and witty, if sometimes unrealistic All-American girl. The boys loved her, her parents worried about her, and her friends followed along (often the their regret). GINGER would enjoy a long run in the comics, appearing in Zip Comics and Suzie Comics before graduating to her own 10-issue series.
