Expedition GreenlandÑSolveigÕs Strength and Au_rÕs Prosperity is inspired by Erik the RedÕs and the Greenlanders Sagas, the Norse expansion west across the north Atlantic and the retelling of key events in these sagas. The film and graphic novel tell the fictional story of two women who participated in the discovery of these new lands while emigrating to Greenland and establishing the first settlements there.
