Description
Gritter! is a light-hearted musical for children which tells the story of a group of children who want to put on a Christmas concert. They rehearse songs about Father Christmas and about Tim, the Sad Snowman but just as they are ready to depart for the venue in which they are going to perform it starts to snow heavily. Fortunately a Gritter Lorry passes within a few minutes meaning that they can make the journey safely. At the concert they sing three songs from the traditional Christmas story within which, it fair to say, Herod does not come off well! Particularly suitable for children aged 8 Ð 13 (Upper Key-Stage 2 and Lower Key-Stage 3) the most important elements of any successful performance of this work are energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
