Thinking about the direction photography and art in a whole have being taking I try to return to ÒprimitivismÓ. I am in love with pinhole simplicity, its soft images and contact prints. It takes me back to photography essence.

What most people haven’t realized yet, is that the media has a lot to do about the message content. As Nail Postman once said, “technology is the biggest ideology of all”. This is the main reason I photograph with analogue cameras and old pinhole. It is not about being wistful but about what Cicero would call the avoidance of the sense corruption. After all, soon or later we always go back to our roots, looking for something left behind. Specially when a culture becomes dominated by entertainment language.
