Description
Christine Russell was, from her university days, an atheist. After retiring from teaching she volunteered with GAP and was sent to Nepal where she lived with a Hindu family. Making good and lasting friendships amongst the Hindu community she was inspired by their spirituality and took their advice to search for an equivalent path within the traditions of her home country. In discovering Quakers she found a sense of belonging which she had not known previously and which helped her to heal from painful childhood memories. At the time of her early death she had found a level of acceptance and peace, and an awareness that she had all that she sought from life. This book includes her newsletter articles, her talks and her correspondence.
