ÒDialogic Earth! LayersÓ is a rhyming science picture book, complete with dialogic prompts, that introduces the earth as layers. The story unfolds as a rich, but simplified version of the earthÕs evolution from a gas cloud to the inner core, the outer core, the lower mantle, the upper mantle, the crust and finally the atmosphere. The activities at the end of the book include an art project, movement and a song. ÒDialogic Earth!
