Description
Science K, by Lincoln Empoweredª. At this age, there is still so much to discover. The world is full of new sights and sounds for your student to learn about and experience. Kindergarten students are especially curious and interested in the natural world, which makes science a favorite subject for many young students. Respond to your studentÕs inquisitive nature by pointing out and explaining that science is all around them. If you donÕt know much about a particular topic your student notices in the natural world, use that as an opportunity to demonstrate scientific thinking: make a prediction, and investigate to see if your prediction was accurate. Encourage your student to adopt this way of approaching problems and making sense of the world around them. Urge them to look for cause and effect relationships, and support them as they try to understand relationships in the natural world.
