power! Virgil ÒGuyÓ Gilbert was a member of the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Squad, who volunteered to
wear a suit that gave him super-speed, His challenge is every time he uses his power it speeds
up his metabolism and shortens his life span. He can save lives, but only while shortening his
own! LIGHTNING appeared in T.H.U.N.D.E.R. AGENTS (aka The Super-Agents Of Thunder) #4-20,
sometimes in solo adventures and sometimes alongside his teammates.
These fast paced tales have scripts by Steve Skeates and Ralph Reese with artwork by Mike
Sekowsky, Dan Adkins, Gil Kane, Paul Reinman and Wally Wood.
