Train up your children in the way they should grow and when they are old, they will not depart from it. The Bible said that, but it never said that your neighbors will agree with the way in which youÕre training them. Pauline Brown was a single parent, who was a Christian. She loved her daughter dearly and taught her everything she could about God. She also taught her to be responsible and loving, but her method to some people were very unconventional, and they did not approve. Now rumors were spreading that Pauline was charging her daughter for everything, including rent. Her daughter was still a teenager and was still going to school. It was a rumor, that was all it was, but some people were starting to believe it. At first Pauline ignored it, but as time went on, she realized that she needed to put an end to it, because it was tarnishing her reputation. Pauline was a good person, and what they were saying was a lie. People were beginning to turn up their noses at her. Will she allow this rumor to ruin her?
