A collaborative book of short stories, drawings, paintings, and photos by Judith A. Rice and Mark Rice.
From January 2012 to August 2013, Judith A. Rice and her son, Mark Rice, exchanged drawings and stories via physical and electronic mail. The artists assigned themselves the task of creating a correspondence with the only rule. Each artist must create drawings and stories to which the other could respond. One artist creates a drawing, while the other composes literary context for the image. Conversely, one artist creates a story, while the other composes its illustration. Small deviations from this format were executed, but most works follow this initial working principle.
