Melissa ISD fifth and sixth grade students share their excitement and discoveries of their own scientific research and testing with others through this publication of their journal articles. The goals of the Melissa Cardinals KidsÕ Inquiry Conference are to provide students with opportunities to:

¥ share the excitement of their own discoveries
¥ interact with students from other grade levels who share common interests
¥ view science as a dynamic force in their own lives
¥ critically consider the credibility of their own research and the research of others
¥ draw upon the discoveries of other students to enhance their own research
¥ use technology as a vehicle to document their research and testing
Thank you to our 5th and 6th grade teams for supporting this endeavor. Their dedication provides MISD students with opportunities that strength our childrenÕs character and intellect in their journey of life- long learning.
