Description
7th grade students at HTMMA set out on a 23-mile journey on-foot from Border State Field Park in Chula Vista to Cabrillo National Monument in Point Loma during this project. This was an expedi- tion of discovery: a discovery of self, a discovery of others, and a discovery of the beauty and brawn of the city of San Diego. Students collaborated with community members and organizations to explore the dichotomies in their lives, while confronting the physical, mental and social issues that we, San Diegans, are up against.
