Helen’s book covers only the first 54 years of her life. However, she lived to be almost 103. She lost Vernon, the love of her life, in 1990. She also outlived two of her sons, as well as three grandsons. At the time of her death, Helen had 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She had a special kind of love for each of them. Helen was a blessing and an encouragement to all who knew her.
