Description
The book is geared toward the American families and kids of 7-10 years of age who want to remember their heritage, be reminded of the great history of the country of their ancestry, and have some knowledge of their ancestors’ language.
The idea of the book was born when my son Peter, who was 8 y.o. at the time, refused to continue with his private Russian language lessons, saying there is no use in them (my first language is Russian). I came up with the story where his namesake and the namesake of his favorite toy wouldn’t be able to find the way out from a pretty complicated situation without speaking Russian.
