This delightful little book is a story for older children. Set in Indonesia, it is a rich tale of discovering oneÕs true self, told by a venerable Dalang (Wayang puppet master) to Michael, a young Westerner. Mardiyah lived in Indonesia with her husband and five children for over six years. She became quite fluent in the language and deeply interested in Indonesian culture, including the wayang orang and wayang kulit, upon which this story of Prince Harjo is based.
