There is a page dividing each illustration to prevent bleed-through of ink or paint. (I recommend using a sheet of cardboard or plastic between each design while coloring, to further prevent bleed-through.) The page between images also allows for display of the completed artwork without having to sacrifice any of the pictures. Colored pencils or oil pencils work best for these detailed images. These intricate illustrations are appropriate for age 12 and above.
