Either way, she was raised by the witch doctor and learned the ways of the wild. Sheena was the first woman hero in comics and the first to get her own book. For 15 _ years SHEENA: QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE appeared in Jumbo Comics and for a time in both Jumbo and her own 18-issues series – one of the most successful characters in comics!
