Description
Social-pragmatic language disorders are prevalent in children with autism. As a result the need for social skills training programs is increasing. Many programs on the market today provide social skills learning, however, they do not promote socialization. Instead, the students passively watch movies or click a button to identify what the next scene should be. With SiLAS socialization happens around the curriculum and throughout the animation process. Instead of being consumers, students actively participate in a creation process where they collaborate, make decisions, and socialize with instructors and peers. SiLAS is innovative, motivating, and fun. SiLAS takes social and emotional learning to the next level!
