Description
This collection of autobiographical short stories captures SimonÕs life as a child in Poland, as a teen living in Palestine before the founding of Israel, as a businessman in South America, losing his fortune when the ship carrying his cargo was blown up by the German navy, and then successfully rebuilding his business. The book celebrates his friendship with the artists Botero, Matta, and Manzur, his encounter with Picasso, and the many pleasures and joys he experienced throughout his long life.
