TITO GUINGONA is a fighter. He fought for freedom during the dark days of martial rule. He was twice thrown into prison, beaten, tear-gassed, and water hosed. But he did not relent. When he became chairman of the Commission on Audit, he fought corruption and did not compromise. Serving as senator of the land, he fought for vital issues he believes in: justice for the oppressed, relief to the poor, social and economic upliftment for the nations.
