FANTASTIC FEARS is a strange series Ð not just the strangeness of the stories of horror, terror and mystery, but because most of the stories are unattributed or collaborative ÒshopÓ works, and yet they have been reprinted multiple times over the next half century or so. One notable exception to attribution is Steve Ditko first professionally drawn comic story in #5 (Stretching Things), and you can see hints of Matt Baker and/or Jack Kamen in the Iger Shop books. Perhaps you are not concerned with who did what and only want high-quality, shocking, perhaps disturbing horror Ð you will not be disappointed in the pre-code stories! Sit back with your favorite steaming beverage…… enjoy some horror. This book brings you select stories from the series Ð issues #2-5, 8-9.
NOTE: In addition to being incomplete, many of these issues are aged, and are not the best quality examples of comic. We continually work to upgrade and improve these books, and when we’re able to do that will replace old versions, but if you’re looking for perfect reproduction, this is definitely not the book for you.
