Description
For years POLICE COMICS had been dominated by Plastic Man and other superheroes, with some humor thrown in for good measure. As the superhero/crimefighter waned and the law and order genre began to grow, POLICE COMICS with #103 returned to its namesake Ð stories about criminals and the police who hunted them down. In that ÒfirstÓ issue INSPECTOR DENVER OF HOMICIDE was introduced, and this stalwart cop stayed with the title right up to the final issue #127. His exciting tales sometimes drifted from the mainstream police procedures, but it was always exciting! In that same issue #103 DAN LEARY STATE TROOPER made his debut, and while he only lasted five issues, he’s deserving of his place in the Gwandanaland & Midcentury pantheon. In this collection you have both great Golden Age characters presented in their own series for the first time ever!
