Description
Who was Maxey Millan Wildes? Based upon several facts revealed in an 1820 letter, he may have been the disowned son of a Massachusetts Supreme Court Judge Samuel Sumner Wilde. The letter was believed to have been written by U.S. Congressman Richard Henry Wilde from Georgia. By writing this book, I hope to connect with descendants of Judge Wilde and my third great-grandfather Maxey Millan Wildes who was known in Massachusetts as James Wilde. Perhaps the mystery will be solved.
