Earl Derr Biggers’ Hawaiian detective, Charlie Chan, came to the newspaper comic pages in October 1938, first in black n white on the daily pages, then, on October 30, 1938, in color on the Sunday pages. The Sunday comic strip lasted until May 24, 1942. We present in this book the first 72 Sunday pages, in FULL COLOR.
