Description
Philip Joste left School when he was 14. He describes his adventures as a boy during World War Two, life in a Travelling Fairground and doing his National service in the Parachute Regiment.
He has mixed with some of LondonÕs most infamous Gangsters, worked on almost a hundred films, and played Poker with some of HollywoodÕs biggest Stars.
During the time he was running the famous Rainbow Bar and Grill, on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, he created the Hollywood Vampires, whose members included Alice Cooper, Meatloaf, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon and others. He constructed a vacation project in Majorca, ran Bob GuccioneÕs Penthouse club in Mayfair, built a chain of Theme restaurants in America, dealt in the California property market, opened a Militaria Collectors shop in Las Vegas, and a host of other ventures before finally retiring back to his roots in Sussex.
