Where do we go from here? Women writers enrolled in Bay Path UniversityÕs ÒResearch and Writing in the DisciplinesÓ course in the Fall of 2015 applied that question to a wide range of topics. For six intense weeks, writers Ashley Weiner, Veronica Harman, Denise LeBlanc, Wilmari Lorenzo, Amber Vaughn, Kala Mattoon and Shannon Strevel worked to answer the question Where do we go from here? as it applied to complex topics that affect them in personal or professional ways. Topics explored include natural treatments for overcoming anxiety; over-diagnosis of and treatment options for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); euthanasia and physician assisted suicide; support for working moms; decreasing the rate of teen pregnancy in the United States; the benefits of a free college education, and the link between high fructose corn syrup and type 2 diabetes.
