Description
The first play ÒAnnabelle and the Black Rhinoceros Have Left the UniverseÓ was what we called a blind play. Six different writers wrote five minutes of a play. No other writer involved knew what the others were writing about. When they were all done we meet up and had to find some type of thread in everyone work that we could use to weave all the stories together. ÒThe Hounding of Leon T. BaconÓ and ÒRyann is LateÓ are both a part of what we call our chain letter writing exercise. Each of these has an administrator who does not write but rather just makes sure timelines and rules are followed. The first author starts by writing two to three minutes of dialogue then sends that back to the person administrating the play. That person documents what has been done then sends it to the next author. This person must continue the play by writing another two to three minutes without touching the first authorÕs work. This continues until the final writer where the story ends.
