It addresses the greatest threat that humankind has ever had to face at a moment in history when we have all the technologies and understanding to make the world a paradise for everyone. Lyrical dramatic, tuneful, tonal and accessible, this is an ideal work for choral societies, youth orchestras and choruses, professional ensembles. Cry of the Earth was first performed at London’s Royal Festival Hall and has since been performed around Britain as well as in the Netherlands. Scored for large chorus, soloists, orchestra, electric guitar, saxophone, drum-kit and narrators, it is available in two versions, either as a 90 minute, two part work or as a 60 minute single movement piece.
